Biography:

As Creative Director at the Mars Hill Group, Colin Whitney develops strategic brand, communication and strategy solutions. He also plays a key role in management of the creative team and oversees the agencies brand and implementation of brand and interactive solutions, and is highly passionate about developing big ideas for a variety of North American clients. With over twelve years of experience in the field of print and interactive design and over seven years directing a variety of projects, Colin provides a strong creative focus to the Mars Hill team and clients such as Cabela's Canada, Chicago Tribune Media, The Canadian Museum for Human Rights, and the City of Winnipeg. Colin is a husband, and father of 2 great kids. He respects sarcasm, enjoys punk rock, pop-culture references, and loves it when a plan comes together.

The title may sound dramatic, but I still find I’m having conversations about communication and brand strategies in terms of traditional media campaigns.
Understanding the shift in how people communicate and adapting to it has been a process for sure. However the larger challenge is in actually just recognizing the shift itself.
