Active Business Mindset

Whether it’s a sickness, pure passion or possibly being a bit of a nut, I know I’m far from being alone on this one. The innovation light is always on and in some form I’m always working.

Taking note of updated brands and sometimes great and not so great new tag lines, like VIA Rail’s ‘The more human way to travel’, new promotions or billboards, a modifyed website or new search and social media news worthy items out I’m always on.

The most important part of business being always on, is being aware that just about anyone I run into could be my new client. That person who cuts me off in traffic or at the grocery store checkout lane, events of sports and business a concert or those at a variety of summer events like the Fringe and Folk festival. It’s not that I start talking business with the unknown people necessarily but I also don’t shake my fist or yell out the window or do anything I may feel silly about if we do meet again in a professional setting.

Always on really is not all that bad. Just some food for thought as we start off yet another week.
