Friday, October 2, 2009 14:05Have you heard of SDEC09 yet? No? Perhaps you’ve heard of Manitoba’s Parks Reservation System? No? Maybe you need hear about how it was delivered in 92 days!
Have you heard about Lean and Lean Software Development but wondered how it would work in the real world? We will recap the Parks Reservation Service Project-which received the Manitoba 2007 Project of the Year Award from PMI, and a nomination for the 2007 Canadian Information Productivity Award. This award winning Lean Software Development Methodology will be presented. Special attention will be paid to how Lean is different from other Agile methodologies. As well, we’ll share lessons learned from the project on process, teamwork, and the do’s and don’ts of implementing lean projects.
To hear more about this and other similar presentations, check out SDEC09 at the Winnipeg Convention Centre on October 14, 2009.
