Someone told me the other day that emotional marketing is only a fad and something that will soon go away because it doesn’t have lasting power. When I was told this I knew I had to demonstrate to them the power of emotional marketing.

Emotional marketing is incredibily powerful! It has the ability to motivate you, bring you to tears or leave a lasting impression. Nobody is a believer until they see emotional marketing in action. Take a peek at the commercial below and then tell me that emotional marketing isn’t powerful. This commercial is emotional marketing at its finest. The commercial is translated and was created in Thailand, but enough gets through that you’ll be able to understand it. The commercial was created for a Thailand insurance company.

Watching it once was enough for me. If anyone else has a commercial that touched them, made them laugh, etc. Send it along to me and let me know so we can discuss what makes it powerful.

This commercial always got me as a kid; I thought of it when reading this article. The music and the black and white sequences really add emotional punch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6rO3TGDAHs
